Skills/Experiences
- Five or more years of experience in international financial executive leadership roles
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting or corporate finance
- Professional certification (ex: Certified Public Accountant)
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, transfer pricing, and Swiss as well as international taxation
- Working knowledge of how to borrow and raise capital
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong leadership qualities
- Outstanding analytical ability, problem-solving aptitude, and highly organized
- Strong work ethic and pro-actively owning topics
Responsibilities
- drive the company’s financial strategy and talent needs
- all finance and tax related tasks, including budgeting, controlling, financial forecasting and reporting, cash management, transfer pricing and insurances
- Coordinating the development of annual and quarterly financial operating and capital program budgets, as well as reporting for the same to the Board of Directors
- Ensuring P&L and cash flows are compatible with plans and operations by overseeing monthly forecasting, accounting, and internal-control activities
- Researching revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyzing internal operations, identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement, and report company-wide KPIs
- Performing risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments
- Evaluating and managing capital structure and fundraising initiatives and dealing with potential financial advisors or investors
- Providing investment and strategic recommendations to the CEO and colleagues of the Management Board
- Ensuring compliance with national and local financial requirements considering existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
- Developing and implementing financial best practices and tools/systems to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible tech company organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications and workflows
