Main Functions
- Develop concepts, structures, flows, and UI for new products and features, documenting design decisions along the way
- Create Figma prototypes to share and validate with the team and users
- Closely collaborate with product management, engineering, research, and technical writers as a member of the development team
- Ensure consistency of interactions, visual language, and interface components across the product
- Maintain familiarity with interaction patterns and the competitive landscape
Education
A degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field
Knowledge
- Java, Python, React, Docker, Hadoop, Spark, Linux/CentOS, Cloud/Virtual Machines, AWS/OpenStack/Kubernetes, BI/ analytics /visualization / dashboarding tools
- Agile, Scrum
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years Java development experience
- Expertise in interaction design, with a strong sense of HCI and IA
- Demonstrable success working with product managers and engineers
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
- An understanding of front-end web development
- Knowledge of BI, analytics, visualization, or dashboarding tools
- Fluent written and spoken English
